Depends vastly on which structure you choose. If your overall ridge height is below 4m in height, then you may not require planning permission in your area, however we ask everyone to check with their local planning authority to be sure. If you require help with gaining planning we can supply you with full-scale drawings for submission or we can carry out the whole planning application for you.

Q. Can the structures be modified from the standard designs? I.E Can I increase or decrease the sizes of Beamlock designs?

A. You can modify sizes within the parameters of Beamlock. E.G you can add additional bays on to widen structures – using standard bay sizes (2.6m). Hence a 2 bay garage could become a 3,4 or 5 bay etc.

For custom/specific sizes - when you start to modify our engineered designs, further engineering is usually required, which can incur large costs. We recommend sticking with our finalised standard designs.
